Tanya is thrilled to become a part of the Catoctin School of Music community! She was born and raised in Loudoun County, VA, and currently resides in Hamilton. Tanya earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Musical Theater from Lees-McRae College and has been performing professionally for many years. She continues to be an active regional performer and has had the privilege of performing at various venues, including the Spirit of Washington Cruises, the Kennedy Center alongside John Lithgow and Linda Eder, and most recently, with Stagecoach Theater Company and A Place to Be.

Tanya has been teaching music, drama, and dance for fifteen years and is currently serving as the music and drama teacher at Destiny School of the Arts. When not teaching, she can also be found leading worship at Destiny Church. She is passionate about sharing her love of music and performing with her students, and she is looking forward to bringing her talents to CSM!
