Julian is a native of Northern Virginia, where he was concertmaster of both the Briar Woods Falcon Guitar Ensemble and the Loudoun Youth Guitar Orchestra. He was chosen as a section leader in the All-Virginia Guitar Ensemble and was selected for the All-National Guitar Ensemble. Julian has placed in the Beatty Competition for several years and was the Overall Winner at the Aguado Classical Guitar Competition in 2019.

Julian is a recent graduate of Duke University where he studied classical guitar with Randy Reed. He performed in a multitude of ensemble and chamber performances, played in multiple masterclasses with renowned professors, and headlined the Triangle Guitar Society Concert Series two years in a row.

Julian is thrilled to be here rounding out our guitar team and we are pleased to have him onboard.
