Jamey Mann

Guitar, Suzuki Guitar, Piano

Mr. Mann has studied rock, jazz, and classical guitar since the age of fourteen. He graduated from Rowan University with a BA in music performance in 2008 under the tutelage of Joe and Kathleen Mayes and in 2011 graduated from Shenandoah University with a Master degree in music performance where he studied with Dr. Glenn Caluda. Jamey is a registered teacher with Suzuki Association of the Americas certified through book 3.

Jamey's performance experience includes winning first prize in the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society Student Competition, solo recitals in Philadelphia, New York, and Perth Australia, where he performed for the Perth classical guitar society and performed with the Australian classical guitar ensemble Plectra. In addition, Mann has performed in Master classes with Ronn McFarlane, Berta Rojas, Martha Masters, and Richard Provost.

Jamey Mann has taught guitar since high school to students from ages 6 to 80. An Adjunct Professor of Classical Guitar at Shenandoah Conservatory since 2011, Mr. Mann continues to teach and perform throughout the DC metropolitan area.
